Arsenal to battle with Real Madrid for £15m Atalanta attacker

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

According to a report from La Repubblica, Arsenal and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old Danish striker ahead of a potential summer move.

The talented young striker joined Atalanta at the start of the season and enjoyed success. The talented youngster has scored seven goals and provided two assists in all competitions for the Italian club and could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the European giants. .

Arsenal need to further improve the quality and depth of their attacks. They relied too much on Gabriel Jesus this season. Mikel Arteta needs to bring in another player who can share the scoring load with the Brazilian international.

The 20-year-old Danish striker seems like an ideal choice and Arteta can help him develop into a top-class striker.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid also need to add depth to their attack. Karim Benzema is in his later years and the Whites will have to make plans for the future without him.

It remains to be seen if both clubs are ready to make concrete proposals for Hojlund at the end of the season.

Atalanta paid £15 million for his services and is looking to make a big return on this investment. Arsenal and Real He could join Madrid as an attractive proposition for the youngster and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
